Style stop: best friend dressing

Patterned leggings + faux fur gilets + icon tees + being freakin adorbs

Location: Carmel, Indiana

My take: First off, I’m going to come right out and admit that I may be slightly biased in this matter. Because these two mini fashionistas happen to be my nieces, there’s a marginal chance that I’m swayed in my conviction that they are of above-average awesomeness. If they were on trial (for assault with deadly cuteness), I’m pretty sure I’d be immediately excused from the jury. Either that, or I would John Cusack my way into the jury with the sole purpose of convincing the rest that they are, indeed, guilty of being the most stylish 1-year-olds on the planet.

But regardless of my personal opinion, I think it’s safe to say that they are nailing the fashion game. They’ve mastered the art of Best Friend Dressing (looks like they were paying attention to the blogs during London Fashion Week!), rocking looks that are coordinated but not completely matching. (Come on, they’re not that basic.) And you have to admit, their faux fur game is strong.

Mom’s take: “They are twins but I don’t like to dress them exactly alike. However, they are usually coordinating in some way. ¬†They love how soft the fur vests are and I like that they are outfits that I would actually wear as well.”
