I’m actually feeling pretty awesome today. I weighed myself this morning and I’m down two pounds from Saturday. TWO POUNDS! I definitely haven’t been perfect, but I’ve made a concerted effort to step up my game.
On Monday I went to spinning after work and then made a super healthy salad for dinner. No booze. Last night I was little less disciplined. I met a friend for a couple of glasses of wine and a shared order of chips. (Btw, chips from the New Rose pub on Essex Road are curiously delicious.) But I’ve also been making an effort to eat healthy lunches at work and walk around more during the day. So far so good.
I have a client lunch today that’s likely to be filled with loads of delicious food and adult beverages, so we’ll see how I do…

I think I might have inadvertently discovered a new diet. I call it “don’t change anything and see if you can lose weight”. So far it’s going well – this morning I had lost the princely sum of 1 Imperial Standard Pound.
I am still in the process of setting up my work gym membership, and the guys from work haven’t been running so far, due to the weather. But if I keep this up I will completely disappear in two years’ time!
Sounds like a success to me. I shan’t lord it over MRS just yet as we could be well within the standard deviation of my weight noise…
