I have a sort of love-hate relationship with shoes. Because I have really large feet, it’s really really hard to find shoes in my size. And it’s even harder to find them in the UK. I’m also tall, so I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect heel that’s not too high but still super cute.
We hosted a little Friendsgiving at our flat last night, so most of today was spent nursing hangovers and cleaning the kitchen. (So much leftover pumpkin pie!) But, luckily, I did get outside in time to enjoy a couple short hours in the sunshine.
For this chill Sunday, I decided I needed a laid-back, simple look to take me from coffee to shopping to PBRs and more. I bought these relaxed boyfriend jeans from H&M years ago and I just recently decided to distress them DIY style. I let loose with a pair of scissors and a razor (and I think maybe a cheese grater… the details are a bit fuzzy) – and this is what I came up with.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying unpacking my cosy jumpers and chunky knits recently and layering up for the crisp autumn weather. And the fact that it was actually sunny and gorgeous outside today inspired me to could get out and about in the neighbourhood and take a few snaps.
Last week I posted a Fashion Formula based on flowers and stripes — and this week I decided to put it to the test. Even though it may not be that sunny in London right now, these bright colours are definitely helping to put me in a warmer mood.
