Patterned leggings + faux fur gilets + icon tees + being freakin adorbs
You’ll never guess where I got this vest
Five things I enjoy:
- Plaid
- Giving new life to old items of clothing
- Finding hidden treasures
- ‘Borrowing’ (in the permanent sense) clothes from my dad. Mostly because he has some cool vintage stuff from the ’70s. But partly because it really annoys him. Especially when I sneak into his room to steal his white athletic socks. This was a daily activity when I was in high school – but now I challenge myself to nab a pair or two whenever I visit.
- Plaid again.
5 plaid coats you definitely need for winter
Every year when October rolls around I go into coat-scouting overdrive. My desire for chic outerwear is even more intense living in London because the winters are more mild. You can get away with wearing a wool coat – perhaps even partially unbuttoned. Whereas in New York City’s you’re pretty much required to zip yourself into a full-length sleeping bag from November to March.
Sunday style: velvet, stripes and plaid
We hosted a little Friendsgiving at our flat last night, so most of today was spent nursing hangovers and cleaning the kitchen. (So much leftover pumpkin pie!) But, luckily, I did get outside in time to enjoy a couple short hours in the sunshine.
1 Piece, 3 Ways: Red Plaid Shirt
You know how sometimes you buy a new piece and you just love it so much that you actually have to stop yourself from wearing it three days in a row? That’s exactly what I’m going through with this Flannel Ex-Boyfriend Shirt in Albion Plaid from Madewell. Seriously, it’s so comfy that I’m tempted to sleep in it at night – and it goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe.
